Thought I’d get back into this. I have been spending a lot of time working and working on myself, but also ignoring the simple things that bring me joy. #3 or so on that list of things is painting my nails! So, here’s hoping I can keep it up.
This polish is killer, also it is everything I ever wanted OPI - DS Mystery to be. Photo shown is 2 easy coats plus topcoat.
new york summer - hot purple
this is a crap swatch of one of my very, very favorite polishes. IRL it is much deeper, a bit darker, and there is less visible nail line. none of my cameras like purple. it’s very sad as purple is my favorite color!
i put this one on after my LOS ANGELES KINGS won the STANLEY CUP! woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooweeeee!

sally hansen - big money (gem crush collection)
my middle nail broke waaaaay far down, and i was having trouble picking a polish that was awesome but still kind of nude (trying to hide my nubs). this one fit the bill, and also made its way into my top 20. i love the purple glitter, aaahhhhh.

amazing, incredible multichrome from brazil, ordered from shop.llarowe.com! lean ann offers so many brands that are impossible to get in the states otherwise, i loooove her shop.
this polish shifts between: grey, green, teal, and purple. whaaaat?! i actually made a gif of it, stay tuned…
china glaze - marry a millionare
the party on my nails right now is OUT, OF, CONTROL! in marry a millionaire, we’ve got a couple different shades of purple glitter in addition to bar glitter that shifts between green, blue and gold! i like the bar glitter in this one because it’s small, not overbearingly “hairy.” truly, truly, awesome polish! (fyi, i think this was about 3-4 coats. slight word of warning there.)

another jelly sandwich! okay, i hate “barbie pink” most of the time but this combo is HOT.
pure ice - purple reign
i am so obsessed with this polish - the purple and gold combo is really beautiful. i’d been looking for this forever, am so happy to finally own it!
btw, i want to note, i’ve been experimenting with barielle - manicure extender as a top coat (with seche vite applied over it) and it has more than doubled the wear time of my manicures. i used to only go about 1-2 days until my manicure got way too chippy, but with barielle - manicure extender they last, chipless, for 4-5 days. i meeeeean, what?! miracle product.
