Thought I’d get back into this. I have been spending a lot of time working and working on myself, but also ignoring the simple things that bring me joy. #3 or so on that list of things is painting my nails! So, here’s hoping I can keep it up.
This polish is killer, also it is everything I ever wanted OPI - DS Mystery to be. Photo shown is 2 easy coats plus topcoat.
sally hansen - big money (gem crush collection)
my middle nail broke waaaaay far down, and i was having trouble picking a polish that was awesome but still kind of nude (trying to hide my nubs). this one fit the bill, and also made its way into my top 20. i love the purple glitter, aaahhhhh.

okay, here we are in the present day! i just finished this manicure and i love love love it. i love the gold toned glitter with the neutral base.

the first christmas-y manicure of the season! i seriously love as gold as it gets, it’s my favorite from the luxeffects. although i think CND did it first.

i keep disappearing on you guys. sorry, i’ve just been very busy gearing up for another HARE polish sale!!! i got my lacquer base in (finally) and i have just been swimming in glitter. stay tuned, and make sure you’re signed up for the email list!
anyway, i am really into polishes with more subtle shimmer lately, and i reeeeeeally love the color addicts collection by la girl. the gold shimmer in icon is awesome.

yep, this is the forever 21 version of this color, but i prefer listing it with the original name for this color, as the repackaged version from f21 just says “blue”. ha!
pure ice - purple reign
i am so obsessed with this polish - the purple and gold combo is really beautiful. i’d been looking for this forever, am so happy to finally own it!
btw, i want to note, i’ve been experimenting with barielle - manicure extender as a top coat (with seche vite applied over it) and it has more than doubled the wear time of my manicures. i used to only go about 1-2 days until my manicure got way too chippy, but with barielle - manicure extender they last, chipless, for 4-5 days. i meeeeean, what?! miracle product.

nyx girls - gilded glitter
gilded glitter has to be one of my favorite glitters of all time. i love it so much that it took me about 6 months to use it because i wanted the moment to be perfect. lololol.
chanel - graphite
the application on this was fucking spot on, 100% awesome. + the formula is amazing cause i’m on my 3rd day wearing this and i don’t have any chips and only slight tip wear on my right hand. i loooove this polish, you guys. do you see the tiny bit of gold in the middle of the nails?! amazing!
opi - rally pretty pink
this pink is raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally pretty. ha. there is an amazing amount of gold glitter in the plummy base which makes it interesting. this is a dupe for zoya - faye, which i have as well and i’m a little peeved about it! dupes in my stash make me feel anger! i really wanted the red shatter, which this one came packaged with, so… whatev whatev.
opi - spark de triomphe
this polish makes me want to say obnoxious things like “blingtastic” and “bootylicious” and maybe even “flavaaaaaa flaaaaaaaavvvvvvvvvvvv”
IDK. it’s really sparkly and that is the effect sparkly things have on my brain.
i love that this has silver AND gold mixed in, it’s spectacularrrrrrr.
