i wish i could post every swatch that i find of HARE polish, but i think that’d be overkill. i’ve been seeing some incredible swatches though, my goodness.

this one is from the same collection as midtown magic. i frankened a near dupe of this a while ago, actually (bedtime). skyscraper is darker but… still. i am a frankener of the future!

I LOVE THIS POLISH. so much. (even if the formula was the worst thing ever, felt like i was applying glue). it’s such an awesome blue and adding the copper glitter to it was probably the best idea barielle has ever had.

BLACK GLITTER!!!!! what?! amazing! this is my new favorite thing on the planet. i got a bunch of the other glitter addict polishes, can’t wait to wear them all.

nubar - indigo illusion

you guys, yesterday was a sad day. on top of being so sick that i had to stay home from work, i also had to chop all my nails off. i guess i got too obsessed with barielle - hydrating ridge filler because i over-hydrated my nails and then consequently tore one of my nails down as faaaaaar as it could go. rather painful but i survived. i was doing something stupid like folding a blanket or something. that’s what i get for trying to pick up after myself. never again!

anyways! i am absolutely in love with this polish. i’ve been obsessed with it for so long and finally ordered it along with a couple other nubars. and lots of other stuff. whoops. awesome blue/green (?) base with pink shimmer. bottle of magic!

love and beauty (forever 21) - blue/green

this polish made me feel schizophrenic. i really loved it under low, fluorescent lighting because the purple flash was extremely awesome. but then in the sun, it was a weird, sheer teal with some weird yellowness to it (maybe just my stained nails) that i really hated. wish i could have photographed the purple flash, it’s lovely.

i got burnout because it has the same (or extremely similar) pigment as clarins 230 and will probably franken with this. here i layered it over royal to see what it’d look like. <3

wowwwwwwwww. this polish is special to me, mostly because i can not remember for the life of me WHEN or HOW i got it. one day while i was going through my stash i saw this polish, and i was all “wait, what? mr. nailingit did you buy this for me???? and hide it in this drawer???? because i just wrote it on my list to buy” but no, no he did not. no idea how i got it. musta been those nail polish fairies. btw, it’s a super amazing blue jelly, such an awesome color, everyone should have this.

some other things:

my first batch of HARE Polish is all sold out! omg you guys are spectacular. to those of you who purchased or showed any interest at all: thank you so much!! i have lots more brewing here at nailingit / HARE Polish headquarters. the first batch will be shipping out to you guys tomorrow!

and lastly, i finally tracked down the sally hansen “crackle overcoats” today because i was super curious about the silver and gold. can i just say something? i’m totally disappointed in opi. i swatched sally hansen - fractured foil and it cracks much better for me, and it is a brighter, prettier silver. i waited for months for opi’s pirates of the caribbean collection, called my beauty supply man every day until he got it in, and now i’m sad. but happy i have the sally hansen one now. meeeeeeeeeeh.
